Cabinet material related to Cabinet's endorsement of the dementia sector’s 'Improving Dementia Mate Wareware Services in Aotearoa New Zealand – Action Plan (September 2021)' is now available online. The aim of the plan is to guide improvements in dementia mate wareware supports for people with dementia and their whānau and carers.

In September 2022 Alzheimers New Zealand hosted a webinar about "Addressing the dementia challenge in the new Health Ecosystem: A discussion with Te Whatu Ora". The recorrded version of the webinar is available to view on the Alzheimers New Zealand website

NZ Dementia Foundation Chair, Dr Matthew Croucher has welcomed the exciting first steps being made towards realising the vision of the New Zealand Dementia Mate Wareware Action Plan.
